Luke’s Wife #

Yes. Luke is a mysterious silver fox with a lot of romantic past. At the beginning of Leper Luke & The Quest for LG2, he is not yet fully over the death of his lovely wife. He tries to bury himself in work (uncovering more and more hidden secrets) to forget the gnawing questions that push themselves forcefully into his conciousness.

Maybe he really was responsible for her death? Does he allow himself to feel love again, already, or ever?

Luke’s Leprosy #

Luke got infected with his name-giving ailment while opening a forbidden tomb in the lower Nile delta.

The Dinosaurs #

In the last scene of Leper Luke & The Quest for LG2, three dinosaurs appear. As the story is set in one of the world’s best Science & Tech Universities, it is obvious that they have been recreated there. But by whom? And why? Maybe this pic gives some hints…

The Love Interest #

Leper Luke is a romantic man, and he needs someone to project his emotions onto. The creators of the franchise are well aware of this. There originally was a love interest in Leper Luke & The Quest for LG2, but it was cut due to self-censorship of the authors, who selfishly thought that their physical safety was more important than Luke’s romantic fulfillment. Perhaps the love interest’s origins are linked to a politically sensitive country?

Luke’s motorcycle #

The motorcycle used for filming actually was a toy, and had to be pushed by hand to achieve a realistic forward motion.

The Chess game #

We actually played a real game of Chinese Chess, but had to cut all of it. Playing the Chess game was a major emotional challenge for Luke, as he used to play checkers with his wife every Sunday on their patio.

Why is Luke living in Hong Kong? #

Luke is not typical filth, for he never actually lived in London. After the tragic death of his wife, he found consolation in world class literature. Becoming a huge fan of John Le Carré, Luke developed an obsession to live on the remote Hong Kong island mentioned in The Honourable Schoolboy. After arriving though, he quickly noticed that he couldn’t exist without delivery food. Therefore, he took at job to become an archeology Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

I would want to study there, but I couldn’t find an archeology department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. #

After the events of Leper Luke 3, the University decided to close the archeology department forever.
